As a portion of the That’s me!: Eliminating barriers to postgraduate research study in the West Midlands — one of the 13 Research England-funded projects focused on racial equity and access to postgraduate education, Birmingham City University PGRs, HE colleagues, and industry partners came together for this webinar to explore the role of employer engagement in supporting researcher development.
During this webinar you will listen to discussions on exploring career pathways within and beyond academia, challenge common misconceptions about research careers, and reflect on how universities and employers can better support postgraduate researchers — particularly those from Global Majority backgrounds — to navigate diverse professional opportunities.
