An Introduction to CV Writing
This interactive workshop, developed by Transitions and Transformations: The Black Researcher’s Journey — one of the 13 Research England-funded projects focused on racial equity and access to postgraduate education — and The Diversity Trust, aims to support PGRs in writing a clear and confident CV.
By the end of the session, PGRs will be able to:
- understand the layout and design of a powerful CV
- Work through ‘top tips’ to help craft your CV
- Decide what to put in, and what to leave out
- Understand and use the SOAR method to create powerful achievement statements
