Epigeum – Digital Learning Solutions for Higher Education
We are pleased to welcome once again Epigeum as the sponsor of the International Conference on Developments in Doctoral Education & Training.
Epigeum – Digital Learning Solutions for Higher Education
Epigeum is the leading provider of exceptional online courses designed to help universities and colleges transform their core activities – in teaching, research, studying and leadership and management.
Epigeum courses are developed through global collaboration of experts and partner universities and shared by subscription. They are produced by an in-house team of editorial and online professionals and used by leading institutions across the world.
Epigeum courses are organised into programmes grouped around key skills areas in higher education: teaching, research, studying and leadership and management. Epigeum say that they have helped tens of thousands of staff and students move online: 95% of whom rated their Avoiding Plagiarism course to be of exceptional quality.
United in a passion for learning and leading edge technology, Epigeum was founded in 2005 as a spin-out company from Imperial College London. The company continues to cherish that link with its London office situated close to the main campus in Kensington.
Many academics from Imperial have contributed to Epigeum courses, including Professor Lord Winston, Professor Gerry George, Professor Chris Toumazou, Professor Peter Barnes, Dr Simon Stockley, Dr Paul Langford, Professor Sir David Watson, Professor Graham Gibbs and Dr Benita Cox.
Epigeum collaborates across the globe with leading experts from the UK, USA, Europe, Africa, Australasia and Asia.
Rosemary Deem, UKCGA Chair, said:
“Epigeum have been a hugely valued supporter of the UKCGE for the past 4 years so we’re delighted that the team from Epigeum will be present at the conference. They will be on hand for the duration of the conference in the Back Stage Trust room, so please do pay them a visit to discover more about the courses they provide, and how they can support the delivery of postgraduate courses at your institution.”
Visit the Epigeum website for more information.
