Nurturing and achieving excellence in teaching, supervision and programme design and structure is fraught with problems. It can be hard to define and difficult to identify. This conference will shine a light on the exceptional practice that takes place in our universities and also, as a sector, guide us through some challenges that remain ahead’.

Angus Burns, UKCGE Events Officer said,

The meeting in Liverpool will build on some of the successes of the 2015 Annual Conference with special interest network symposiums, such as the Deans and Directors of Graduate Schools, the recently launched Graduate School Managers Network and a new network for Supervisors forming an important part of the programme. I am really looking forward to working with local contacts and universities to showcase Liverpool to the UKCGE membership. I’m also excited to see the looks on delegates faces as they walk through the town hall doors for the first time as it’s a marvelous venue.”
