This guidance document was developed by Yorkshire Consortium for Equity in Doctoral Education (YCEDE) and YCEDE’s Scholars Board, in order to outline their expectations of YCEDE and YCEDE attendees at events.

Produced as a direct result of feedback from some of YCEDE-affiliated PGRs feeling excluded at one of their own events, this comprehensive guidance was developed in collaboration with YCEDE’s Scholars Board, in order to outline their expectations of YCEDE and YCEDE attendees at events. It also addresses wider issues and things to consider around allyship, positionality, and intersectionality.
