This interactive workshop, developed by Transitions and Transformations: The Black Researcher’s Journey — one of the 13 Research England-funded projects focused on racial equity and access to postgraduate education — and The Diversity Trust, exploring what imposter syndrome is and how to overcome it.
By the end of this session, users will be able to:
- Understand what imposter syndrome is and how it shows up
- Recognise the different types and patterns of imposter thoughts
- Reflect on your own experiences and triggers
- Learn practical strategies to reframe self-doubt
- Apply simple techniques to build confidence and celebrate achievements
