Graduate Education Managers Network Meeting 2023
The 2023 Graduate Education Managers Network workshop provides the opportunity to join colleagues from HEIs across the UK, in person, to discuss some of the pressing issues affecting their roles.
The event will include an interactive session on ‘Building a case for enhancing researcher engagement’, presented by Joanna Royle from the University of Glasgow. In addition to this Ursula Hurley from the University of Salford will share details of thier ‘PhD Reimagined’ scheme which aims to equip our research students with the skills they need to address global challenges.
There will also be networking and opportunities for delegates to discuss other issues currently affecting their roles.
Lunch will be provided and other refreshments will be available during the day.
Venue
The workshop will take place at Friends Meeting House, Manchester. The venue is located in the centre of the city, within walking distance — or a short taxi journey — of all of Manchester’s mainline train stations. A map and directions can be found on the venue’s website.
