Good Practice Guidelines for Assessment for PGT
This workshop will look at some of the particular challenges in assessment at PGT level. It will consider both the principles which ought to underpin our assessment of PGT, and also will begin to develop guidelines for good practice in this area.
There are multiple good practice guidelines for assessment in general. This session aims to look at some of the particular challenges in assessment at PGT level. It builds on a workshop session at UKCGE Conference in July 2022 at which a number of ‘dilemmas’ in assessment were discussed. This session will consider both the principles which ought to underpin our assessment of PGT, and also will begin to develop guidelines for good practice in this area. Ultimately, we intend to publish a short guide which will include: the policy context, principles, guidance and some brief case studies. This afternoon session will focus on Principles and Guidance.
