University of Glasgow, College of Arts, are recruiting for a full-time SGSAH Knowledge Exchange Manager
Join in the world’s first national graduate school for the arts and humanities, delivering world-class collaborative training for doctoral researchers across Scotland. The SGSAH Knowledge Exchange Manager is responsible for building partnership relationships to drive innovative knowledge exchange activities through:
- communicating the research and skills needs of creative, cultural and heritage organisations to the arts and humanities research base;
- highlighting new developments in arts and humanities research to external organisations; and
- building collaborations to take new ideas forward.
The Knowledge Exchange Manager will also lead on the development of a flagship SGSAH Internship and Artist-in-Residency programme, which offers fully-funded placements for doctoral researchers in a wide range of cultural, creative, heritage and other organisations. The successful applicant will be an engaging self-starter who is comfortable working independently, as part of a committed and enthusiastic core team in Glasgow, and with colleagues at all levels across member HEIS to identify, develop and deliver training opportunities to increase and improve knowledge exchange activities in the arts and humanities.
This is a fixed term role in the first instance until 31 March 2019. Secondment applications will be considered from all SGSAH member Higher Education Institutions.
- Salary band: £33,574 — £37,768
