Professor Fuller also highlighted that the value of the mission far outweighed the value of funding in regard to the key driver of engaging international science, technology, engineering and mathematics students with UK Higher Education.
Also giving evidence to the committee were the Minister of State for Universities and Science, David Willetts MP an the Minister of State for Immigration and Security, James Brokenshire MP, on ‘widespread concern’ over the effects of immigration policies on student numbers.
