Research England and the Office for Students Launch Funding competition to improve access and participation for black, Asian and minority ethnic groups in postgraduate research

Today Research England and the Office for Students launched a joint funding competition for project proposals to improve access and participation for black, Asian and minority ethnic groups in postgraduate research (PGR) study in the English higher education sector.

They are making available up to £8 million for projects that aim to provide evidence of effectiveness and impact on improved access and participation for black, Asian and minority ethnic groups in PGR students.

RE and OFs expect projects to aim to provide exemplars of effective practice and/​or transferable insights across the higher education sector.

Guidance for the funding competition and the bid template can be found on the Office for Students website.

The deadline for bids is noon on 28 January 2021.
