Conference Chair and UKCGE Treasurer Dr Douglas Halliday said,

I’m delighted at the response to the call for papers; with over 70 abstracts submitted we have been able to put together a high-quality international programme covering many aspects of doctoral education worldwide. This conference is shaping up to be the most significant global forum for the sharing of ideas, approaches and innovation on all aspects of the doctorate. I would encourage all those with an interest in this area to register as
soon as possible.”

UKCGE Events Officer Angus Burns said,

The Conference programme features 73 papers, by 127 authors, from 16 different countries across Asia, Oceania, North America and Europe and will offer delegates the opportunity to share practice and their experiences of doctoral education with colleagues from around the world. Given the number and quality of papers being presented at the Conference it is already proving to be a very popular event and I would encourage anybody wishing to attend the Conference to secure their place via our website as soon as possible.”
