Higher Education Academy Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) consultation
Higher Education Academy Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) consultation
The Higher Education Academy are carrying out a consultation on possible changes to the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES).
The Higher Education Academy (HEA) have been prompted by feedback from the sector to review its popular national student survey for postgraduate research students. Some of the issues raised within the sector, and at the recent 2016 UKCGE Deans and Directors Residential include:
- relevance or PRES for Doctoral Training Partnerships and Professional Doctorates
- timing of PRES
- publication of results
Jason Leman, Surveys Officer at the HEA, said
“We’d like this to be as much a discussion as a listening process. As the consultation progresses through March and April we’ll be putting up feedback received and responding to it. Talking about PRES with UKCGE members has always been really productive, and members views on these proposals would be most welcome”
The HEA are welcoming feedback on any aspect of PRES. To respond, or download the consultation document, please go to: https://heacademy.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/pres-2017-and-beyond
