2016 Annual Conference Papers Announced
UKCGE are delighted to release further details for its annual meeting in July.
The 2016 Annual Conference aims to bring together key stakeholders of the postgraduate education community to widen understanding of excellence in teaching, supervision and programme design and institutional structures and how to support and reward excellence generally.
The event which takes place at Liverpool’s Town Hall on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th of July now boasts 4 key plenary sessions, 35 submitted paper sessions, 2 symposia sessions for Deans, Directors and Graduate School Managers, a number of poster sessions and a rooftop drinks reception with dinner.
Sessions fit into the following themed strands:
- Excellence in Masters teaching
- High quality supervision in Doctoral education
- The impact of the cohort-based approach
- Judging excellence
- Rewarding excellence in PG supervision & teaching
- Research methods teaching
- Structural support
- Leading excellence
UKCGE Event’s officer Angus Burns said,
‘We are looking forward to welcoming members and supporters to Liverpool for the final and most important UKCGE meeting of the 2015/16 academic calendar. The town hall in Liverpool is a fantastic venue and personally I am very excited to be running an event there.’
